Dinner, made simple

Product policy

Privacy

Last updated September 7, 2026

The short version: AteYet? collects no data. It has no account, advertising, analytics, tracking, developer-operated server, or live AI service. Your kitchen information stays on your device.

What the app stores

AteYet? saves the ingredients you select, favourites, cuisine and dietary preferences, serving count, meal plans, grocery-list items, recipe notes, cooking history, and app settings in local app storage on your device.

ThinkSync Studio does not receive this information, cannot view it, and cannot recover it for you.

Data collected

None. Under Apple’s App Privacy definitions, AteYet? collects no data of any category and does not track you across apps or websites. The app’s bundled privacy manifest declares no tracking and no collected data types.

The app uses Apple’s UserDefaults storage for app functionality, including saving your choices and preferences on your device. AteYet? does not share app data with ThinkSync Studio, analytics providers, advertisers, or other third parties.

Microphone and speech recognition

If you choose to dictate a private recipe note, AteYet? requests microphone and speech-recognition access for that action. Transcription requires Apple’s on-device speech model. AteYet? does not send your audio or transcript to ThinkSync Studio, and voice-note transcription does not fall back to a developer-operated or cloud AI service.

You can use AteYet? without granting these permissions by typing notes instead. You can revoke microphone or speech-recognition access at any time in the Privacy & Security section of iOS or iPadOS Settings.

Sharing

When you choose to share a recipe or grocery list, AteYet? passes the text you selected to the standard iOS share sheet. You decide which person, app, or service receives it. Once shared, that copy is governed by the recipient or service you selected.

AteYet? makes no other network connections.

Dietary preferences and nutrition

Dietary preferences, ingredient choices, and nutrition-related selections remain on your device and are not collected by ThinkSync Studio. Nutrition values shown in the app are estimates for meal-planning purposes and are not medical records.

Deleting your data

You can use “Reset all data” in AteYet? settings to clear ingredients, favourites, ratings, notes, cooking history, shopping-list items, preferences, and plans. Deleting the app also removes its local data from your device.

Depending on your Apple backup settings, app data may remain in an iCloud or computer device backup controlled by you and Apple. AteYet? does not provide its own cloud sync or backup service.

Children

AteYet? does not knowingly collect personal information from children or from anyone else. The app does not contain advertising or behavioral tracking.

Changes

If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted at this address with a new date. Any feature that changes how data is handled will be explained plainly.
