What we collect
Your account details (name, email, a hashed password — we never store the password itself), the story and details of your dispute, documents you upload as evidence, contact details for you and the business, and the analyses and documents generated for your case. We also use functional cookies: your login session, a list of cases you created before signing up, and an anonymous id for community hearts. No advertising trackers.
How we use it
To analyze your case, generate your documents, find the business's public contact information, and send you notifications you'd expect — deadline reminders, hearts and encouragement on your case, and next-step nudges.
AI processing
With your consent, your case story, uploaded documents, and case details are sent to the AI provider configured for the service, currently OpenAI or Anthropic, to produce analyses and documents. Document text extraction may use Anthropic. We use business API access rather than consumer chat accounts. Provider retention and data-use terms can change, so do not upload information that is unnecessary to your dispute. Business contact lookups use the business's name and location, not your personal details.
What's public
Cases are private by default. Nothing appears in the community feed unless you review a preview, acknowledge the identification risk, and choose to publish it. A public summary can include a one-line description, vehicle, business name and location, progress stage, and supporter count. It does not publish your contact information or uploaded documents. Because case facts may be distinctive, a public summary may still identify you by context.
Sharing
We do not sell your data. It is shared only with service providers needed to run AutoJustice — AI processing, email delivery, and hosting — and when the law requires it.
Retention and deletion
Your data is kept while your account is active. Deleting a case removes it and its documents, events, and community hearts immediately. To delete your entire account, email support@thinksyncstudio.com and we'll remove it.
Security
Passwords are stored as salted hashes, sessions are httpOnly cookies, and case access is restricted to the account (or original browser) that created the case.
Age & changes
AutoJustice is for adults 18 and over. We'll announce material changes to this policy on the site.
